Happy New Year everyone.  2026 is upon us and we look forward to a successful and victorious year.

The California Congress of Republicans added several more chapters in 2025. With tremendous help from Membership Vice President Jong Lee, we added three chapters in Los Angeles County. Antelope Valley was the first added, followed by the Koreatown and San Fernando Valley organizations. Los Angeles County is terribly blue and progressive and the County elected officials rarely makes intelligent decisions on governance, public safety, or the use of the excessive taxes collected from its residents. We are excited to have these new clubs provide energy and success in Republican endeavors in L A County.

CCR also added a new chapter in the Ventura area named “Bridge the Gap” Congress of Republicans. These newest members are looking to find common areas of agreement to bring people to the common sense and responsible views for running our state and local government.  Hats off to Pamela Krausz and her friends for organizing this new chapter.

California Congress of Republicans is holding their Endorsement Convention via Zoom on March 18, 2026.  Each chapter will choose their own delegates to represent them for the voting for endorsement of numerous Republican candidates.  We will also be having a Candidate Forum for the leading Republican candidates running for Statewide offices. The Candidate Forum is a Zoom event for all our members and their guests.

The CAGOP is holding their Convention from April 10-12 in San Diego.  CCR will hold our regular Convention meeting at a time to be determined. We will have updates from the CAGOP Rules, Bylaws, Resolutions, and Volunteer Organizations committees, as well as Chapter updates. Hope to see you there.

Many thanks to Julie Mobley for her service as our Recording Secretary. She did a tremendous job and we are sorry to see her go.  Julie left big shoes to fill, but we are looking for a new person to take her spot as Recording Secretary.  Please let us know if you or you know someone who can volunteer for this position.

We have a very important election in November and we must do our best to recruit, assist, and support our Republican candidates.  Let’s elect Republicans and make California safe, prosperous, and affordable again.
